How do you translate Gear Patrol’s mix of content to Instagram? I was tasked to lead a rethink of what our presence on the platform would look like, and how we would create a must-view destination for our followers. The answer lied in acknowledging how separate the Instagram platform is from our other venues. Sure, instagram was a venue to show off our award-winning imagery, but it also had to be sufficient if it was the only place where a reader consumed Gear Patrol. The feed had to be a blend of product news, discovery and reviews, all packaged in a cohesive, beautiful way.
