Gear Patrol Studios for Hill City

Gap’s Hill City, a performance-oriented men’s apparel brand, offers technical clothing that transitions seamlessly through the day — from work to work-out to weekend.

As the title sponsor of Gear Patrol’s Product Culture Conference called Stocked, GPS worked closely with Hill City to produce beautiful custom content. We celebrated the brand's participation and told its brand story, where Gear Patrol Studios conceived, shot and edited an original introductory video that premiered at our inaugural event.

My role was to lead a team of creatives (video, photography, design) through the process, writing briefs, working directly with Hill City to establish both production timelines and creative direction and to direct the two-day on-location shoot in San Francisco.

I headed post production, reviewing drafts and cuts and finalizing assets to be used in-person at Stocked, on our site, in print and on Hill City’s owned-and-operated properties.
